Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency
Lately, the buzz words 'Renewable Energy' and 'Energy Efficiency' have been humming in the air. Federal and states incentives such as tax breaks, loans and/or grant programs are being offered for going energy efficient. Personally, I would love to have a ‘Green home’ and, not to forget, all the enticing rebates. So why haven’t I? Ok, I need the time and upfront budget. Well, my windows are wearing out and need replacement. When I do, I will certainly get them replaced with energy efficient windows. Each baby step will be a drop in my cup of green and collectively a healthier world to live in. What are some of the energy efficient projects you have undertaken or will be exploring? Lets' talk about Green Health Care for a moment
In Green Health Care, toxic-free and energy efficient buildings, education on environmental health issues, and the use of safe, effective medicines are all inherent elements of a health care system that is good for the health of humans and the environment. How do we make this happen? Well, we can tune our minds to get environmentally conscious, we could advocate green health care benefits, we could practice green habits and we could attempt to live and work in toxic free environment. Lately, there has been green noise all around us. We hear about green detergents, green appliances, green pesticides, green house keeping and yada yada. How many of you watched the movie ‘The Day The Earth Stood Still’? What was the producer eluding to? That’s no brainer.
